In connection with the face are considered birthmarks, congenital growths, iuevi, abscesses, ulcerations, parasitic diseases, surface tumours, dental abscess, incised wounds, fractures and dislocations, burns and scalds, plastic surgery, deformities of the eyelid and eyeball, deformities of neurotic origin, &c. In connection with the foot are considered deformities induced by injury or disease (e. g., dislocations of ankle, stumps, ingrowing toe-nail, onychia), deformities induced by bad habits (e. g., faulty boots, bunions, corns, distorted toes, &c.), and congenital and paralytic deformities.
